Where can I buy a ticket?

You can conveniently purchase tickets online directly on our website. You will receive the electronic ticket by email and just show it when boarding the boat. Tickets can also be purchased directly from us on board before departure.

Is it possible to book the entire boat?

Yes, we offer the possibility of renting the entire boat for private events, corporate parties or celebrations. For more information and a price quote, please contact us by phone or email.

What happens in bad weather?

Dear visitors, in the event of extremely bad weather (very strong gusting winds, storms) the departure of the ship may be delayed or cancelled for safety reasons. Furthermore, in the event of a drop in the level of the Hracholusky reservoir below the level set by the river manager, when it is not safe to land the boat at the Vranov and Škoda Butov wharves, transport services will be restricted.

Jihočeská plavební společnost s.r.o. took over the operation of cruise ship transport on the Hracholusky dam, located on the Mži River, at the end of 2025. The dam is located in the Pilsen Region, southwest of Pilsen, near the village of Hracholusky. In close proximity to the dam is the home port of a passenger cruise ship.

The ship Josef Švamberk (formerly PLZEN) sails from June to the end of September as part of regular cruises. From the deck of the cruise ship, which has been here at the dam for 60 years and has become an integral part of this unique location, visitors to this beautiful site have the opportunity to enjoy the cruise and enjoy the surrounding unique natural scenery.

Visitors can use the boat for transport during their trip between the localities of Radost, Butov and Vranov or just relax during a sightseeing cruise.

The slower pace of the sightseeing cruise allows passengers to relax, unwind and enjoy moments of peace. For many visitors, the cruise is associated with nostalgia and reminiscing about the past when travel had a different pace and atmosphere. Through the cruise, you can experience the natural beauty of the Mže River and its rocky and steep banks like in the palm of your hand.

Informationen zum Parken

Parking is available in the car park in front of the campsite approximately 200 m from the dock. From the car park you can reach the dock by a comfortable path along the shore or through the camping area – the walk takes approximately 3 minutes. We recommend arriving well in advance of the boat departure. Parking is charged by the campsite operator.
